1. Application Phase
Before you can attend Selection, you must complete the application process:
- Submit Application – Fill out the online application form (link provided on Discord).
- Recruiter Interview – A short interview with a Recruiting NCO to confirm eligibility, expectations, and answer questions.
- Technical Check – Verification that you have installed the required mods, can connect to the server, and have working comms.
If accepted, you will be invited to the next Selection cycle.
2. Selection Overview
Selection is designed to evaluate candidates for suitability in a realism-focused Marine Special Operations Team environment. It is not a boot camp, but rather an assessment of your potential as an operator.
- Duration
- 1 scheduled session (approx. 2–3 hours)
- Location
- Task Force Raven training server
- Instructors
- Recruiting NCOs and cadre
3. What Selection Evaluates
During Selection, candidates are assessed on the following:
- Discipline – Following orders, comms discipline, and general conduct.
- Basic Soldiering – Movement techniques, formations, and situational awareness.
- Marksmanship – Rifle proficiency, basic target engagement.
- Navigation – Understanding of maps and following waypoints.
- Endurance – Mental and physical stamina across an extended mission scenario.
4. Selection Outcome
At the end of Selection, candidates will receive one of the following results:
- Selected – You have passed the assessment and move into Operator Training.
- Deferred – You showed potential but require further practice or adjustment; you may attempt Selection again.
- Not Selected – You were not chosen to continue at this time. Feedback will be provided, and reapplication may be possible at a later date.
5. Preparing for Selection
To improve your chances of success:
- Install all required mods ahead of time.
- Ensure your microphone and radio setup (ACRE/TFR) are working.
- Review basic Arma 3 controls, ACE interaction, and land navigation skills.
