SERE-C (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape)
[edit]The SERE-C certification is an advanced qualification available to operators within MSOT 8213 – Task Force Raven. This certification prepares operators to survive in austere environments, evade capture, resist exploitation if captured, and escape captivity.
It is modeled after the U.S. military’s Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape – Level C course, which is required for SOCOM personnel who may operate behind enemy lines.
Responsibilities
[edit]- Survive in hostile environments with minimal resources.
- Evade enemy forces during escape and evasion scenarios.
- Resist interrogation, exploitation, and propaganda if captured.
- Escape captivity and rejoin friendly forces when possible.
- Advise the team on survival and evasion planning during operations.
Training Required
[edit]- Must be a Critical Skills Operator (CSO) in good standing. .
- Completion of the SERE-C Training Course.

Advancement
